Practical Functions (实际作用)

• Refrigerant Containment (防止制冷剂泄漏): Its primary role is to create a gas-tight seal at connection points (such as compressor ports, condenser joints, or expansion valves) to prevent the escape of R134a or R1234yf refrigerant.
• System Pressure Maintenance (维持系统压力): A/C systems operate under high pressure. The B5 O-ring is engineered to withstand these fluctuations, ensuring the cycle remains pressurized for optimal cooling performance.
• Contamination Barrier (阻隔污染): It prevents moisture, dust, and air from entering the sealed system, which protects the compressor from internal corrosion and prevents the refrigerant oil from degrading.
• Vibration Buffering (缓冲减震): It provides a small degree of flexibility at rigid pipe connections, absorbing engine vibrations that could otherwise lead to metal fatigue and cracks at the joints.
